WINGS Retreat Center

Located in Florida City, Florida - the most southern city on the tip of Florida - just north of the Florida Keys. This seven bedroom, 4 1/2 bath retreat center is available for missionaries, mission teams, retreats, disaster relief, and ministry related events.

On the first floor of this Key West style home are two small bedrooms, with one large bathroom, and a large apartment sized or dorm style bedroom, with a bath. There is a large activity room that includes a pool table, and a dining room that seats 20 people. The kitchen is industrial sized, with an oven, microwave, and two cook tops.

A wrap-around porch on the side of the center is a great place to hang out and enjoy the warm Florida weather.

Upstairs, this Key West Retreat Center has four bedrooms, each furnished with two bunk-beds, and two bedrooms with one bunk-bed – for a total of twenty beds on the second floor. There are two large bathrooms with double sinks, toilet, and large shower. The upstairs also includes a small loft with couches and DVD equipment.

WINGS Retreat Center is walking distance to the bus line, and only five blocks from US 1 – the road to the Florida Keys. You can also walk to a Cracker Barrel, StarBucks and Wal-Mart, as well as other restaurants.

The Florida Everglades Park is just 30 minutes away, as well as other tourist attractions. Boat rentals, bike rentals, the beach, and other Florida activities are all 30 minutes or less drive time.

WINGS Retreat Center is owned and operated by Project TeamWork, and is available for a nominal fee to those using the facility for ministry, particularly in the Florida City, Homestead area.
